Apple Day 2017

Posted by David

It's almost that time of year again...with a huge variety of home-grown English apples, a delicious hog roast, quality locally brewed ales and ciders and even a bouncy castle! Apple Day will return on Sunday 8th October 2017! 10am - 4pm

*Due to the adverse weather forecast for the coming weekend, we have decided to postpone Apple Day until Sunday 8th October 2017. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause, and look forward to seeing everybody in what we hope will be finer weather on the 8th.*

We’ll have a huge range of exciting activities to keep the kids entertained; a pumpkin trail around the farm as well as fun games, a bouncy castle and kid’s crafts. Multiple varieties of home-grown English apples will be lined up for you to try and buy, and you can also step back and watch our own apple juice being pressed by our friends from St Ives Cider.

Inside The Market you will find a hub of tasting treats! From apple products to cheeses, there’ll be something for everyone! We’ll have some of our trusted local suppliers showing off their delicious ranges of cider, ales, wines and soft drinks. Alongside all of this, we will be sampling a variety of products from local artisan producers as well as an abundance of goodies from our very own Farmhouse Kitchen chefs!

And as if that wasn’t enough to entice you to join us, our team will once again be up at the crack of dawn getting that hog well and truly roasted in time for lunch!

See you there!
