Apple Day 2016: It’s that time of year again!
Posted by Rachel
On Sunday 2nd October we will be hosting our annual Apple Day – the perfect day out for all the family!
There will be plenty of kids’ activities to keep them busy, a pumpkin trail around the farm as well as fun games, bouncy castle and crafts on our refurbished patio. Multiple varieties of apples will be lined up for you to try and buy, and you can also step back and watch our own apple juice being pressed by our friends from St Ives cider.
Inside the market you will find a hub of tasting treats! We will be welcoming Richard of Hawkridge Farmhouse Cheeses and Sue Proudfoot from Whalesborough Farm to show us some wonderfully cheesey treats! We will also be joined by Polgoon Vineyard who will be showing their delicious range of cider, wine and soft drinks. Alongside all of this, we will be sampling a variety of products from local artisan producers as well as an abundance of apple flavoured bakery goodies from our very own Chefs!
And as if that wasn’t enough to entice you to join us, Giles will once again be up at the crack of dawn getting that hog well and truly roasted in time for lunch!
We’ll see you on October 2nd!
